Accompanied by the Lord Lieutenant of Bedfordshire, Her Royal Highness was given a tour of the facilities and an overview of the work the charity does to train dogs to change the lives of people with disabilities. Sophie was also given a demonstration of these amazing dogs carrying out tasks such as picking up dropped items and taking washing from the machine.

The Countess met with various members of the Canine Partners team, including staff, trainers and volunteer Puppy Parents.  She also spoke to Brian Haynes who is one of 140 people in the country with a Canine Partner.  Brian lives in Huntingdon with Canine Partner Beazley, who was trained at the Bedford Puppy Training Satellite.
