You Are Here : Grand car boot sale to take place at Scone Palace for Canine Partners
The event, organised by the Perthshire Fundraising Team for Canine Partners, is by invite only, with room for just 400 cars. There will be professional valuations with local experts Nick Burns of Lindsay Burns’ Auction House, Tim Hardie the Jeweller and Malcolm Innes the Art Dealer. The event is open to the general public from 11am-4pm, with valuations starting from 9am. Other attractions at the event are a Hog Roast, café and bouncy castle.
Lady Stormont of the Fundraising Committee comments, “This is an exclusive car boot sale in a wonderful location. Canine Partners is making amazing progress in helping people with disabilities in Scotland enjoy greater independence and a better quality of life. We are expecting to be able to raise additional funds for this work through the sale of items such as jewellery, furniture, picture and other antiques.”
Members of the Committee include: Mrs Michael Bluett, Mrs Lorna Bromley-Martin, The Countess of Eglinton and Winton, Miss Bumble Ogilvy-Wedderburn, Viscountess Stormont and Lady Strange.
