Seventh annual Bluebell Walks Campaign a great success

Thank you to all that have participated so far in 2010 and we know there are more being organised by supporters nationwide. So if you would like us to advertise your walk or event call 08456 580 480.

Bluebell Walk Campaign

Since starting these Bluebell Walks you have raised more than £85,000 in support of our work. The walks are a great way of getting supporters together with their family, friends and work colleagues, to have fun, get fit, and you don't even need to have a dog to take part!

In past years walks were held in Birmingham, Cambridgeshire, Conway, Derbyshire, Devon, Dorset, Essex, Hampshire, Kent, Lancashire, Norfolk, Northampton, Oxfordshire, Pembrokeshire,  Powys, Somerset, Staffordshire, Suffolk, Surrey and Sussex (East and West), Wiltshire, Worcestershire, Yorkshire and Co. Antrim.  For our 2010 campaign we hope to add further counties to this list.  For more information on the Bluebell Walks Campaign please call on 01730 716 011 or contact us

Bluebell walk questions and answers

How many people can I have?
There is no limit, you can have anything from 5 to 100 people - it's up to you!

How long does the walk have to be?
Again, there is no limit, you choose from 1 to 10 miles, or longer if you wish.

When should I hold the walk?
Ideally between April and June as this is when the Bluebells are expected to be in bloom - this gives you thirteen weekends to choose from, including the May Bank Holiday.

How will Canine Partners help me?
We will send each Walk Organiser a pack to help make your walk a success but more importantly, make it fun for all involved! Pens and stickers will be available to all participants.

We can help you with local PR, web and newsletter advertising if you would like to publicise your walk. Please use the resources provided by us or by downloading them from this web page, we hope that you will enjoy the day. If you have anything to contribute to the Spring Newsletter it is printed by 1 April each year, to save on increased postage costs.

What if I don't have Bluebells near me?
If you want to take part but don't have bluebells growing near you, don't worry, you can still hold a walk in your local woods or park and we will provide bluebell stickers that you can wear instead.

What do I do next?
