Puppy Parents

WANTED! Loving Puppy Parents to become part of our team

We have thirteen Puppy Training Satellites nationwide and puppies (7 - 8 weeks and older) ready and waiting to be loved and socialised for anything between 2 -12 months.

Reasonable travel expenses will be covered, puppy food, toys, equipment, all veterinary costs and training is provided. If you are keen to have one of our puppies share your life and family, please give us a call today!

You provide the love, and the puppy provides the fun and games!

In class and at home, you will learn what it takes for this bundle of mischief to turn into a fully trained and qualified Canine Partners Assistance Dog.

This is a very rewarding role and we all know how hard it may seem to give your puppy up, but seeing them progress, graduate and help people with disabilities is so worthwhile. Many Volunteer Puppy Parents are very proud to have now helped train several Canine Partners! They also get the opportunity to stay in touch with all the people involved including the Partnerships through our unique Partnership Days (like a graduation ceremony)!! Read some Volunteer Puppy Parents' stories in our Newsletters.

Can you…

Be at home most of the day?
Have suitable transport to get the puppy around?
Attend weekly puppy classes?

Follow Canine Partners’ training methods?
Wave the puppy goodbye when your good work is finished?
Enjoy the fun of classes and outings?

Do you…

Have a secure, dog-friendly garden?
Have the stamina to manage an active puppy?

Talk to us about being a Puppy Parent, or short-term Foster Home. Even if you can only foster a puppy occasionally or for short periods, we would like to hear from you, please contact the Puppy Department at the West Sussex Training Centre and we can put you in touch with a Puppy Training Satellite (nationwide map) near you.

If you are keen to become a Volunteer Puppy Parent and you would like to visit our puppy classes to learn more: please fill in this Puppy Training Department Form.

We appreciate all your support and if you would like information on other local Canine Partners' volunteer opportunities, please contact us.
